GZ

After the long hours of flight, I'm finally arrived at GZ. When I first stepped out of the airplane, the heatwaves had already caused me headache. The temperature is hot and dry. The street is jammed with cars and people. The whole city planning is a mess. Since the Asian Olympic is going to be in GZ next year, therefore, alot of streets and major routes are undergoing huge renovation. Dust and Dirty are flying everywhere. argh........ There is nothing (other than foods) i like about GZ.

Grandma is able to come home from the hospital. She recovered alot. However, she needs to go back in two weeks to do the cancer treatment (which is going to be very painful). Right now I'm living at my aunt's place. Its weird that I cannot login to facebook and youtube, because stupid China blocked all those sites due to Chinese national day on October 1. Very Pathetic. >.<

On one hand i'm extremely excited for going back this time, because its been five years since the last time i visited GZ and Hong Kong. However, i'm anxious and depress at the same time because of the illness my grandma got. Well, I guess this is life.

If i don't go back this time, who knows how long i need to wait once i find a job in Toronto.
All i can do is to enjoy this trip to GZ as much as i can, forget about job hunt for 3 weeks and just relax. For some reason, I felt it is destine that i must go back this time. I don't know why. This might sound absurded, but somehow I can feel it. hahahaha. Anyways, maybe good fortune will happen like interviews *cough, cough* once i come back. hehehe

Its September already, I missed the days of school. Thesis, piles and piles of work and during those time, sleeping became a distant memory. However, I still enjoy every second of it, because I have a goal that I need to achieve. Last year in my birthday, I made two wishes. One came true, the other one, well, I think I need to wait a bit longer.

Its been two weeks and still no reply. I guess its not going to happen. Therefore, I'm planning to go back to GZ and Hong Kong for 2 or 3 weeks to visit my relatives, most importantly, my grandma. Its been 5 years since the last time I went back. GZ changed a lot. The street, people and building etc... I felt I don't really belong there anymore. Maybe I got used to the western culture of living where everything move at a slow and serene pace. After this trip, I wouldn't be going back for at least another 4 years. So it is the last time I can see my grandma. sigh.

Last night went to Go For Tea with Dan, Kin and May. And congratulation to Kin for successfully entered the police training school after one month of waiting. They all said sometimes no news means good news, because that means I am still on their waiting list, rather than sending me an email say I am being rejected. Hope they are right la.

Beautiful weather this week, yet I want it to rain.

Went to Best Buy today and brought this Bose SoundDock Series II. The sound is fantastic. The price is ideal too. $50 off plus one $50 gift card!!!

Also, I ordered the Bose in-ear headphone last night from RBC rewards. Since I collect enough reward points these years, so its free! If i buy the headphone in retail, it will cost around $140 including tax, which is a little too expensive. Word for advice, never buy the i-skin headphone, it completely broke down after 4 monthes. Wow, now i have a collection of Bose products at home.
