經歷過一連串的考驗, 發覺, 在最困難的時候, 是沒有時間讓你退縮, 亦沒法到逃避, 時間是不會等人, 亦不能叫時間停頓, 阻止任何事情發生. 在最難過的時候, 真的不能讓自己有任何一刻的怯懦, 因為, 一投降, 就會被打低, 倒下來, 而最可怕的, 就是在這些艱難的日子, 往往都只有自己可以打救自己, 別人的幫忙都遠遠不及自己的造化. 但其實只要咬緊牙關, 一步一步的向前走, 到最後, 當每場洗劫完結後, 你會發覺, 其實真的沒什麼大不了.

對, 我們想想懷念小時候, 無夏無慮的日子, 慨嘆人大了, 當成年人的日子, 便有一個又一個成年人的問題要去面對. 埋怨現在不比以前快樂. 但是, 時間不會倒流, 我們也是一天一天長大, 如果我們只懂得懷緬過去, 便不會有進步, 不會有力氣去做一個有承擔的成年人.

現實往往不是美好的, 這是我這三年來親身驗證的一個事實, 我亦不敢說, 最好的尚未來臨. 可能是, 低處未算低. 但無論如何, 只要簡簡單單的, 向前走, 走過, 又是一條好漢.

Jakob Karr

Absolutely stunning Contemporary solo. He is one of the contestant from this season's So You Think You Can Dance. He will definitely be in the top 4 and possibly the winner of season 6.

Nigel was extremely disappointed at the solos of tonight's bottom 3 couples. Well, lets hope Jakob wouldn't end up in the bottom 3, so his solo can be a surprise later once he reach top 10 where everyone needs to dance for their lives.

22 (Part 2)

Another fabulous night at 100 Degrees for hot pot. I'm still waiting for my present from fianne *wink wink* hehe. That night was my first time learn how to play poker. At first, i lost all of my chips, however in the end, i became the big winner. hahaha maybe its my birthday luck. too bad we didn't gamble. Last year, i made two wishes, one came true. So this year, i did the same thing, made two wishes. All i'm hoping is one will came true la.

遇見

I never thought I would see that person again, 想不到在萬萬人海中也能遇見.
We chatted for awhile, however it felt strange and awkward. We were both very surprised, since we haven't contact each other for around 5 years. More clearly, i think its after my "accident", i felt that i don't really belong to that group of people anymore because i kind of felt i was being isolated and betrayed. Now, I did became more maturer, therefore, 吃, 喝, 玩, 樂和遊戲人生 is not what i want to do anymore. Although there is still no luck on job hunt, so i guess its time to switch to Plan B.

2009 is almost over. Turning 22 on October 29. Hope on my birthday will have some good news on the interviews la. Otherwise my plan for next month is to find an internship, at the same time a whatever part-time job to solve my financial problem.

Had a spectacular night at Moxies. Since we waited a long time for the table, so we got an appetizer for free!!

Interviews

Its been 2 months since i started mailing my resume and cover letter to Design firms. At the end of August, I had the privilege to have an interview with one of the top interior design firm in Toronto. However, there is no word from them after the first interview (although they said they would like to have a second interview with me). Still, after this experience, I learned alot about what to prepare, the type of question they are asking and what they focus on the most during interview.

Its been awhile since my last interview in August. Yesterday, after my trip to GZ, I received a phone call from an Interior Design Firm ^.^ Also, there was a firm contacted me while i was away and now we are trying to rearrange another time so we could meet. Seriously, I never thought they will reconsider me since i was in GZ when they contacted me. Lucky!!!

So, i guess i will be busy this weekend for interview preparation, getting my letter of recommendation from Jeremy (my Thesis prof) on monday and Interiview on Tuesday.

Back in Toronto

Back in Toronto. Tired and still having a little jet lag. 3 weeks in GZ is definitely not enough. Well, next time i go back, i will probably going to stay for at least one month.
Things that are common in GZ:

• "炒花擦蟹" is the most common greeting phrase
• lineup?! what's that?
  
• talk and laugh loudly like they own the restaurant
  
• enjoy gathering with family and friends, solving their problems and knowing each others business
• crossing the road fence like 劉翔
• smoking in the mall
• staring at ppl
  
• and many more ... ...
