FiFi 25

Its FiFi's birthday, and we had tons of fun on Saturday night. Especially when we were taking the group picture, one resembles the kindergarten class. The games we played after the potluck were a little on the dirty side, but everyone seems to enjoying it. haha Nobody got trashed this year which is good in compared to last year. Hope everyone will have a good start this year.

Opportunities?

Decisions, decisions and decisions. God, i hate making choices!

It is not my nature of quitting something that i worked so hard for it. I know sometimes when there's an opportunity comes, I should go for it no matter what. However, after a deep thought, there are many uncertainties and questions comes to my mind. So I've decided to stay and continue on what I started, rather than going into a new place that it doesn't guarantee a position. Another reason is what I'm doing now can eventually open many doors in the future. Also, he mentioned that I'm very talented, creative and have strong potential, but how come I didn't get hire back in October? One of my friend said he was shocked that the other girl got hired and not me. Seriously, her portfolio is nowhere near mine! After all, I was an A+ Thesis student.

Thanks to everyone that helped me and all the valuable feedback.
I have made my decision.

3 in 1

Flipping through the dates of my calendar, I just realized in February, Valentines' day, Chinese New Year and Family Day long weekend are all on the same day! How wonderful is that. Especially for all the spoiled kids on this planet. Maybe i really should think about what to do on that day. Perhaps something memorable?

Beginning

Last Tuesday was the first day of my intern, and I love every second of it. It is a privilege and honour for me to work at such high-end office and experience what the design world really is. Not only that I learned how design office function, more importantly, I'm able to met some new people that had been in this field for decades. I wish I could work there for the rest of my life! It might be too early to predict and grasp my future at the moment, but I hope I can continue my dream of becoming an interior designer. So, I will put my heart in it, do the best and hopefully someone can acknowledge my skills and creativity.

Midnight always giving me a feeling of calm and peacefulness. Sitting on my warm, comfy bed with my laptop and gazing at the lonely street. Listening to music, simply let my mind rest and just translate my thoughts into words.

Tomorrow will be a new start, hope everything will go well. 2010 is for all the underdogs and runner ups, notice the 2 in 2010 is before the 1. I had everything prepared and I'm physically and mentally ready. Wish me luck
